Wyndham Physio & Rehabilitation and our team of Practitioners were proud to be a major sponsor and support the Relay for Life Point Cook event, that took place in November 2013.
Almost $70,000 was raised in this wonderful community event, organised through the Cancer Council, that enables cancer survivors, their carers, family and colleagues to get together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.
Funds raised go to the Cancer Council to fund research projects, support services for those being treated and their carers, and advocating for change / preventative strategies to assist make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Our Practitioners regularly treat clients that are currently going through treatment for cancer, or are still dealing with the after effects of treatment – to assist them with their rehabilitation needs, and provide support to enable them to continue being active.
We believe we help make a difference to their quality of life and were pleased to be able to support this wonderful local community event.
