Russell Thompson
Physiotherapist
Russell Thompson is a Senior Physiotherapist and the Director of Wyndham Physio and Rehabilitation. He established the practice in 1984 and returned to full time study in 2001 to complete his Masters of Manipulative Therapy and is a titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
He has extensive experience in a wide range of Musculoskeletal Conditions/Injuries including chronic pain and sporting injuries. This includes joint manipulation and mobilisation to reduce pain and stiffness, soft tissue massage and muscle re-education and strengthening to improve control.
He also has a special interest and experience in upper limb and shoulder conditions and is a member of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia.
He works closely with an Orthopaedic Shoulder Specialist assisting with post operative management of many shoulder conditions, especially total shoulder replacement and also where indicated they work together to integrate the benefits of both surgery and conservative treatments.
Russell has always had a keen interest in Sports Physiotherapy and has been involved at a senior level with Olympic Sports athletes and athletes in the AFL and also athletes on a local level. He was a consultant at the Geelong Football Club and spent over 10 years as the Senior Physiotherapist for the Werribee Football Club.
He has a keen interest in Road Cycling and has been fortunate to have travelled to Europe to ride some of the gruelling rides completed by professional cyclists. He does specific Bike Setups for those riding on a regular basis to aid their riding technique to style and prevent pain and injuries due to the incorrect bike positioning.
Ronak Patel
Physiotherapist
Ron is an experienced Physiotherapist who joined our team in 2014.
He has a special interest in treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries and works collaboratively with patients to keep active and achieve their goals. He uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise and has extensive experience in Dry Needling to gain the best outcomes for his patients.
Ron also has extensive experience in Aged Care and is Physiotherapist at a local Aged Care Facility.
Ron is a local resident and has a keen interest in cricket and follows Geelong in AFL.


Andreas Demetriou
Psychologist
Andreas (Andy) is a general psychologist who works with adults, adolescents and children to help them overcome life challenges, build resilience and lead a more happy, healthy and connected life. He also provides general counselling for personal issues such as life transitions, interpersonal relationships, identity, stress management, anxiety and depression.
He has experience with a number of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. His therapeutic style is collaborative and focuses on the individual needs of his clients as he understands that no two people are the same.
Andy is also currently the psychologist for the Werribee Tigers (VFL) and enjoys good coffee.
Dr Adrian Brancato
Osteopath
Adrian has been a local of Werribee his whole life and has successfully completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Osteopathy at Victoria University. With several years of clinical experience, he has had the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, from athletes and office workers to seniors and children at two different clinics.
Your appointment with Adrian will most likely involve the use of manual therapy techniques like soft tissue massage, stretching, muscle energy, joint mobilisation, joint adjustments, dry needling and cupping. Part of his treatment is the prescription of strengthening and mobility exercises to assist in the recovery and prevention of conditions.
He enjoys treating a range of acute or chronic conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, whether it be neck pain, back pain, headaches, hip pain, or shoulder pain. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys staying active and connected with nature through various outdoor activities. As a person Adrian is friendly, kind and family-oriented. He also is an avid sports fan, particularly supporting Carlton and the Werribee Football Club.


Dr Peter Gill
Psychologist
Peter is a general psychologist who works collaboratively with adult clients to help them work through life challenges. Peter offers treatment that is person-centered and present focused and has experience working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Peter is friendly, compassionate, and non-judgmental and can assist clients with personal issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment, grief, trauma, workplace issues, anger, pain, and rehabilitation stress. Peter has experience in a number of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), present centered therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
Fatima Talib
Physiotherapist
Fatima Talib is a highly skilled physiotherapist with a Doctor in Physical Therapy degree and extensive experience, including her tenure at Aga Khan University Hospital. She specializes in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, focusing on personalized care to help patients regain mobility, manage chronic conditions, and enhance their quality of life. Fatima is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based treatments such as manual therapy, electrotherapy, and therapeutic exercise programs.
Her areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation (stroke, Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy), cardiac rehabilitation, and pediatric physiotherapy. Additionally, she has worked in emergency settings and contributed to quality improvement and training initiatives for junior physiotherapists.
Fatima is committed to holistic care, incorporating advanced techniques in critical care, electrotherapy, and aquatic therapy to support patients in achieving optimal recovery and functional independence.


James Somers
Massage Therapist
James is a qualified remedial massage therapist specialising in hands on techniques. He also utilises other modalities such as dry needling and cupping to get the most effective results.
He qualified in 2013, completing his diploma of remedial massage therapy at the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy.
Since graduating James has been involved with local football (AFL) and soccer clubs providing treatments and helping with injury rehabilitation. He also worked with the Essendon Bombers in season 2015 giving players post training recovery massages.
